AJAY LEELA SPECIAL TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE, JODHPUR

In the year 2009, recognizing the efforts of Mrs. Sushila Bohra, the Rehabilitation Council of India (A body of the Government of India) permitted the establishment of Ajay Leela Special Teachers Training College. Government of Rajasthan allotted land at Chokha, Jodhpur.

Rajasthan government releases special teachers vacancies from time to time and we feel proud to say that most of the vacancies are filled by our students. The New building of the College was constructed in 2020 at Chokha under the able guidance and quality architecture by our Hony. Secretary Shri Rajesh Bohra.

Presently college runs the following courses :

01) B.Ed. in Visual Impairment - 60 seats

02) D.Ed. in Visual Impairment - 70 seats

03) D.Ed. in Hearing Impairment - 70 seats

04) D.Ed. in Intellectual Development Disabilities – 70 seats

The College aims to train & provide quality special teachers for blind and hearing-impaired children. It also organizes various seminars and workshops to connect the students with blind and deaf children during their course. Efforts are being made to add more employment-based courses and subjects to college curriculums.

We are expanding the facilities to quality Ajay Leela College for enhancement of seats from 35 students to 70 students per years.
